FileZilla The Best FTP Software

Because of the Hard Disk failure several times, all of the important data found on my Computer Hard Disk was crashed. Few days back I decided to download a copy of my website to my newly installed Hard Disk. For that purpose FTP Programmes are used i.e. to transfer data from your Server to Local PC. I was using FTP Rush Software since long time, but you can’t use it for tasks which I was going to perform i.e to transfer about 10-15 GB of data, as FTP Rush usually skip folders I have noticed that couple of times.

I searched for some other FTP software to perform this heavy task, I installed Cute FTP for that purpose but unfortunately it didn’t satisfied me. It downloaded all the stuff very quickly to my local PC but the problem was it destroyed PHP files I still don’t know how it was done.

After reading different suggestions about FTP Software I noticed that many People recommend to use FileZilla FTP Client. I installed it instantly, Its really a worth trying Free Software.

A new version every six month is one of the joy of using Ubuntu. It is one of the frequently updated & upgraded linux. After releasing Ubuntu 8.10 Interpid, the developers quickly started to work for next scheduled release. And here we are, the new version Ubuntu 9.04’s Alpha 3 is now available for download. According to the official release:

The Ubuntu developers are moving quickly to bring you the absolute latest and greatest software the Open Source Community has to offer. The Jaunty Jackalope Alpha 3 will be the third alpha release of Ubuntu 9.04, bringing with it the earliest new features for the next version of Ubuntu.

This is still an alpha release. Do not install it on production machines. The final stable version will be released on April 23rd, 2009.
