iPhone 4 tutorial – How to install iOS 4.1

This tutorial is addressed exclusively to owners of iPhone 4, so do not go on any other terminal. This method was tested by the application developer and a few other people worked for them but I like to test because I SHSH than for iOS 4.0.2/4.1. This tutorial is only necessary for those who have an iPhone 4 coded and need to preserve the baseband version to use ultrasn0w on IOS 4.1.

Step 1
Download TinyUmbrella 4.1.3 from here:
Windows
Mac OSX
Linux

Step 2
Download iOS 4.1 for iPhone 4.

Step 3
Connect your phone to your computer, close iTunes and open TinyUmbrella then press “Start TSS Server”.

Step 4
Look at the screen “Log” (one with lots of text) and check to see if an error TinyUmbrella posted. If an error occurred because the restart process is very possible if you continue not to be protected during baseband update your site and you will get the new baseband that there is no solution for decoding.

Step 5
Open iTunes and restore the IOS version you downloaded in step 2. Hold down Shift while pressing the Restore button to select the IOS version you downloaded, if not do so then this process will not work!

An unknown error occurred (10 044). ‘”HAS iTunes detected the iPhone in recovery mode year? You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. “. Click “OK” because iTunes no longer displays errors, then go to the next step. This error is very normal for her display that iTunes is not able to update the baseband. Step 6

Jailbreak tutorial for iPhone 4S,iPad 2 – iOS 5.01

MuscleNerd Absinthe just announced that CLI is available for Windows but talk about Command Line Interface version of the jailbreak program. With this program you can do untethered jailbreak on Windows but the process is a bit complicated so you have two options: either wait to launch a separate program and certainly will not be long until it will be available, or use the Command Line Interface and instructions below. Absinthe makes Windows iPhone jailbreak iOS 5.0/5.0.1 and 4S with iPad 2 with iOS 5.0.1.

It is important not finish their work on implementing Absinthe’s jailbreak. If you do not understand anything explained below, then better wait until a program is jailbreak will be released and the procedure will be simpler.

Step 1: Download CLI Absinthe.

Step 2: Copy the archive in the folder C: of your computer.

Step 3: Unzip the archive and check how many folders you have to go up to get the files in the picture below.

After you have found in many folders are “hidden” files need to press either button those Windows Start (bottom right task-bar) and then look for Command Prompt program and open it with privileges administrator (you can search the word cmd in the Start window Windows and the program will be displayed). If the files are in only one folder then type cd cinject_0.4.3 only once.

Step 5: Now that you have reached the folder to be entering commands in the command prompt below. Enter each command, press Enter, wait Absinthe do their job and then enter the second command, press Enter again, etc.. If you are prompted to enter a password, ignore the message and proceed to place orders. Finally, follow the next step and the terminal will reset itself.

Step 6: After entering the last command wait a bit then go to Settings> General> Network and independent enable VPN will reset your terminal and will implement the jailbreak.

After rebooting you should already have a jail-broken terminal.

Usually, when a new product in the market Macs out there a short period of lack of sites compatible with this device. Thunderbolt is no exception to the rule, such as Intel and Apple have partnered earlier this year after they last for months until the Apple Macs equipped with Thunderbolt ports.

Steve Jobs figurine available for purchase on eBay

Although Apple‘s lawyers have sent warnings to cease the sales of which produce the real figurine with Steve Jobs, the product came here today on several eBay sites worldwide.

Apple’s lawyers have argued that they would sue the Hong Kong Company that produces the figurine walking on the idea that the image of Steve Jobs can be defended in court just as a patent.

Apple still has not registered the trademark image of Steve Jobs and the law of certain states, descendants of a deceased person don’t have any right on the image of the deceased so the figurine will be sold in many parts of the world.

On eBay U.S. the figurine can be purchased for $139 with free delivery from Hong Kong but are Australians are not forgotten being able to buy the same figure through eBay.

In some U.S. countries, Apple may have to ban trade of the figurine but if it can be bought from abroad then efforts will be in vain. It will be interesting to see how will react the lawyers of U.S. Company but I think that will not can do too much with threats.

iOS made a mistake! Again !

Maybe it is not a surprise that the iPhone is the best selling smartphone in the U.S. at present. The interesting thing is, that the iPhone 3GS, which is already two years old, continues to sell better than any other Android device from Samsung and HTC!
Best smartphone selling in United States of America:
1. Apple iPhone 4
2. Apple iPhone 3GS
3. HTC EVO 4G
4. HTC Inspire 4G
5. Samsung INTENSITY 2

Anyway, Apple devices that haven’t been updated to the latest version of the IOS operating system caused again the same problems this year. Even if they had enough time, almost a year, Apple has not solved the problem on IOS alarm. iPhone, iPod and iPhone users that were hoping they will be awakened by the alarm at the right hour, have been disappointed if they didn’t use the latest version of IOS 5 operating system.

The problem affected all the Apple gadgets running IOS 4.2.1 operating system. This is the latest version supported by iPhone 3G, phone that can not be updated to IOS 5.0.1 system. Since most users are using the latest version of IOS, the problem was less prevalent as in the first days of 2011.

iOS is the most used operating system in Europe and North America

Although this year Apple changed the rules and chose to keep on the market an iPhone more than a year, the company has managed to stay in first place among the most used operating system in Europe.

The information comes from StatCounter site that monitors millions of web sites around the world and see in the picture above how the market share evolved from the operating system developed by Apple.

If Apple started 2011 with a market share of 45% at the end of the market share reached 40%, much of it reaching at the Android OS.

In North America the situation is the same as Apple continues to lead the market for mobile operating systems. iOS market share has fluctuated seriously this year but at the end of the year demonstrates that iOS is declining, although other studies suggest a totally different situation.

It is clear that iOS platform can not win the fight with Android OS considering that the operating system from Google is supported by dozens of manufacturers of mobile devices so it will not make illusions about how things will evolve.

The battery autonomy and how does matters the closing of location services

Certainly you heard a few months ago that the closing of services for localization on iDevices will significantly improve the battery from your iDevice with iOS 5.

These are mainly iPhone 4S and now I about it because Apple seems to have a pretty bad operating system designed for this device. Then was rumored that in iOS 5/5.0.1 for iPhone 4S, there is a bug that affects the time zone setting and generates a significant decrease of the battery life.

Well for me disable all location services, not only for the time zone, brought an extra hour of usage for iPhone 4S.

An hour of usage can turn into several hours of standby and by closing all services that do not use them anyway unless I really need the Maps application.

I recommend you go to Settings> Location Services> System Services and close everything there plus the GPS (if is not in use) and should not have problems with your iDevice autonomy. This recommendation is for any iPhone or iPad 3G owners, which today might be a great help to you.

News about Ipad 3: Retina Display and a Powerful Precessor

If we just listen the rumors, the release date for iPad3 is February 24 this year. Of course, maybe for the normal people this date doesn’t mean anything but if you are a big fan you know that this is Steve Jobs‘s birthday. Let’s talk about hardware improvements.

Taiwanese sources are talking about a total design change for iPad 3.

This conclusion came after journalists saw a flexible microphone cable which has a totally different form. A powerful processor and Retina Display screen type, are two of the expectations from the new model of electronic tablet Apple.

Processor A6:

Let’s think! The first two models of iPad, both with a new processor! So why things should be different on iPad 3? It will probably be a processor called A6, but we still have more opinions: some experts believe that it’s going to be a dual-core processor or a quad-core one.

Retina Display:

While iPad 2 has a screen that supports a resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels, iPad 3 might have a Retina Display screen type that would support a better resolution (2048 to 1536).

Unfortunately we don’t have any more information about the hardware. It seems that the tablet is coming in two versions with an incredible and more powerful battery : 14.000 mAh!

The rumors remind us that iPad3 should have a screen with higher resolution, with smaller dimensions (8.6 inches).

The biggest technology disappointment of 2011

We present you two of the most disappointing technology/gadgets of 2011. We can say them failures due to the marketing effects were disastrous.

HP Veer

To put on the market a phone with only 2.6 inches touchscreen in smartphone era with displays over 4 inches mean a risk.

HP has done this with Veer model, equipped with webOS. Consumers felt that the device is too small. In fact, so small for a touchscreen that can not be used as it should (of course, on the market exists phones with touch screens of 2.6 inches, but HP product was a complete failure).

Google TV 2.0

It said that the next battle between Apple and Google will give on the TV service. Many have expected from Google to launch a major update of its service. Disappointment. Google TV 2.0 needs so many improvements that it has no way to compare with other players in the market.

Non iPad Tablets

Those from CNET, which we should not believe them with every word they say, said that most of non iPad tablets are disappointing.

Looking from the perspective of Americans, the only tablet worth more or less taken into account besides iPad is Kindle Fire and Nook Color.

Do not wonder why, but we really like Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1! As much I could say that we appreciate Acer Iconia W500 or Asus EeePad Transformer.

High-tech accessories, tested in secret by Apple and Google

Those from New York Times managed to find some internal secrets from Apple and Google. The two major IT companies have developed and tested in the past year smart accessories such as bracelets and watches, which could improve the way we interact with the mobile phones.

A very small group of Apple employees wears a bracelet test glass, with similar features of an iPod shuffle.

It has touch-sensitive control areas and uses commands recognized by Siri to communicate with iPhone. The picture above is not representing the bracelet which we are talking about. iBangle is a concept introduced three years ago on the site YankoDesign.com.

The guys from Google have to turn some secret projects. This includes one who wants to develop a clock companion for smartphone with Android operating system. Motorola already has such a device on the market. Is called MOTOACTV and you can admire it below.

Among its functions include monitoring the activities of sports, music playback from internal memory and display the incoming calls on Motorola smartphone endowment. Over 2012 we hope to learn more about high-tech accessories that Apple and Google had prepare for us.
