IT giants launches war continues in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress. Taiwanese company Asus has announced a smartphone that can transform in seconds into a tablet. Asus Padfone is a 2 in 1 gadget: tablet and phone. In other words, in the tablet’s case there is a place for the Smartphone.
Asus PadFone is a very powerful Smartphone, has a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and 1GB of RAM. It features with a 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 effective.
Asus will bring to sell two models with storage space depending on the need for each other, 16 and 64GB. The camera has 8 megapixels and connectivity with other devices will be possible through Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, 3G and WiFi.
Nothing spectacular so far, but there is Padfone Station, a device that looks and acts like a tablet but not its hardware, but is using the phone. The back has a special place where the smartphone is inserted and automatically transfer all operations on the phone display on the large screen of 10 inch tablet. In addition, Padfone Station has an optional keyboard and can turn into a mini personal computer. Asus has the option Padfone Headset Stylus, a stylus that works with Bluetooth technology.
