Nokia, the leader of the mobile industry has serious problems on the Smartphone segment, one of the few with significant sales growth even in economic crisis.
X3-02 Touch and Type looks unusual, due to the fact that Nokia has implemented both touchscreen and normal keyboard. However, even if we’re talking about a resistive touchscreen, it has a diagonal of 2.4 “and a resolution of only 240 × 320 pixels, rare in this range of phones.
Perhaps this is why the Finns continue to experiment, and the X3-02 Touch and Type is not an exception: we talk about the first Nokia smartphone that has both touchscreen and normal keyboard, while is the first Finnish Smartphone running S40 OS.
- touchscreen 2.4 “240 x 320 resolution
- connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, 3G HSDPA and HSUPA, GPRS, EDGE, bluetooth, microUSB 2.0
- integrating social networks like Twitter and Facebook
- 5 megapixel camera, maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels
- unspecified internal memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 16 GB
Nokia X3-02 does not excel in terms of technical equipment, except for connectivity. Basically, at this chapter, Finnish Smartphone has all the current technologies: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G HSDPA and HSUPA, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0. We also have dedicated applications for social networks like Twitter and Facebook, but with messaging applications Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger and gTalk, a sign that Nokia is increasingly attentive to the preferences of young people.
Nokia X3-02 operates on a rechargeable Li-Ion BL-4S type that promises up to 408 hours standby and talk time up to 5 hours and 20 minutes using 2G network.
