iPhone 4 tutorial – How to install iOS 4.1

This tutorial is addressed exclusively to owners of iPhone 4, so do not go on any other terminal. This method was tested by the application developer and a few other people worked for them but I like to test because I SHSH than for iOS 4.0.2/4.1. This tutorial is only necessary for those who have an iPhone 4 coded and need to preserve the baseband version to use ultrasn0w on IOS 4.1.

Step 1
Download TinyUmbrella 4.1.3 from here:
Windows
Mac OSX
Linux

Step 2
Download iOS 4.1 for iPhone 4.

Step 3
Connect your phone to your computer, close iTunes and open TinyUmbrella then press “Start TSS Server”.

Step 4
Look at the screen “Log” (one with lots of text) and check to see if an error TinyUmbrella posted. If an error occurred because the restart process is very possible if you continue not to be protected during baseband update your site and you will get the new baseband that there is no solution for decoding.

Step 5
Open iTunes and restore the IOS version you downloaded in step 2. Hold down Shift while pressing the Restore button to select the IOS version you downloaded, if not do so then this process will not work!

Near the end of the process iTunes will display an error 1004 and the following: “The iPhone could not Be Restored. An unknown error occurred (10 044). ‘”HAS iTunes detected the iPhone in recovery mode year? You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. “. Click “OK” because iTunes no longer displays errors, then go to the next step. This error is very normal for her display that iTunes is not able to update the baseband. In short, if you get error 1004 when the process has worked, and if not received then the process has not worked.

Step 6

In TinyUmbrella screen will have a button “Kick Device out of Recovery”, click it and the phone will reset and you get out of Recovery Mode, then you can activate and use it without problems.

If the Dev Team will not get an update for ultrasn0w then this tutorial will be used each and every time you restore the IOS 4.1.
