Senseye lets you to control your phone with your eyes
Senseye is a technology developed for the future generations of mobile phones that allows us to control the phone functions by simply watching to on-screen elements that we want to interact.
The prototype designed for the demonstration of Senseye technology is designed to form a very large box, but contains components of miniaturized inexpensive and easy to fit in a mobile format. The system includes a webcam and infrared LED to illuminate the face, both costing about $5.
Even in the current version, Senseye can track the eye movements with sufficient precision to enable the completion of simple games in which we shoot opponents just moving the eyes on them.
At the daily use of the phone, Senseye can run automatically the contact lists or web pages you read, when I got eyes in the bottom of the screen. When we do not use the phone with eyes and the glance is directed elsewhere, the system can automatically reduce the screen brightness to save the battery.
Other possible uses for the Senseye technology come from online advertising environment, enabling companies to track exactly how much time we spent watching advertisements on the screen and portions of the web page that has more interest to readers. The information obtained can help in a more efficient organization structure and placing the page banner advertising in places with maximum visibility.
