Acer Iconia Tab A200 – specifications



Acer will launch on market new tablet: Iconia Tab A200. The technology enthusiasts will be interested to know that Acer plans to launch a new model tablet on market. The device is intended to be an improved version of a version released on the market already-Iconia Tab A500.

The improvements will be noticed on several levels but the most obvious are considering the design and dimensions.

The new tablet will not use the latest version of Android and will run on the previous version of Android Honeycomb. It will use a chipset Nvidia Tegra 2, with 1 GB of RAM. Iconia Tab A200 will have a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.

In terms of design, the new tablet will be more sustainable than the previous version. Iconia Tab A200 will be fitted with an aluminum case, unlike the Iconia Tab A500 which has a plastic housing. Also, Iconia Tab A200 will weigh less than the previous version, weighing 680 grams.

The tablet will be commercially available in two versions: metallic red and black titanium. Regarding other technical specifications on this device you must know that the model will be very similar to Iconia Tab A500.
