Siri can work with iPhone 4 and iPod Touch

Siri, the assistant with voice recognition offered by Apple for iPhones 4S can operate without problems and if installed on the previous generation products, such media players as iPod Touch or iPhone 4.

A similar demonstration has been provided since a few weeks ago, when the developer Steven Troughton-Smith has shown that functionality Siri, the main weapon used by Apple to promote mobile iPhone 4S is artificially limited company only on this phone model.

Then, application porting was successful with one exception – the devices could not communicate with Apple servers to obtain more detailed information on searches initiated by users.

Unfortunately for enjoy of the Siri application on other devices than the iPhone 4S would be better to wait to create a tool capable of automating application changes required to activate the application. The whole process has now about 20 steps and involves taking some files from a memory to jailbreak iPhone 4S.

How about using Siri with iPod Touch players must know that the microphone installed on these devices is not very efficient, so that voice recognition function may not even give the desired results.
