Announced today at Nokia World event held in London, the new Nokia 303 Asha meets the users with a 2.6 inch touch screen (320×240 pixel resolutions) and a physical QWERTY keyboard.
While it is not a smartphone but is based on the classic platform Series 40 (S40) Nokia 303 hides in housing a powerful processor running at a frequency of 1 GHz and receiver modules and 3G/HSDPA connectivity Wi-Fi.
The media is supplemented by a player that can be accessed via dedicated keys and a camera that can achieve up to 3.2 MP shots.
Among pre-installed software includes the popular game Angry Birds Lite, social software and virtual Facebook application throught Nokia Maps GPS guidance for Series 40. Nokia 303 measures 116.5×55.7×13.9 mm and weighs 97 grams.
The autonomy of the device is up to seven hours talk time or 47 hours of continuous listening (MP3 player). Nokia 303 Asha has a price of 115 Euro competitive; it may vary depending on the region of the markets.
The phone will arrive in stores by the end of the year, most likely during the holiday season, and will be available in no more than six color themes: Red, Graphite, Silver White, Aqua, Green and Purple.
