Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro – In stores starting with this month

About the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro I learned from early February at Mobile World Congress 2011.

Although we were promised a much earlier version of Xperia Neo with QWERTY keyboard will hit the store shelves until this month, pre-equipped for business with a software package rather interesting.

Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating system comes with McAfee Mobile Security applications and Office Suite Pro, with a few addons to facilitate synchronization with Microsoft Exchange servers and other email clients.

Widget Type & Send is activated sliding QWERTY keyboard and allows us to compose email messages directly from the homescreen that you can send in record time.

At the hardware level Xperia Pro tries to convince us with a Sbapdragon MSM8255 processor clocked at 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 3.7 inch screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels and a 8.1 MP camera. It supports HD video capture resolution and uses an image sensor based on Exmor R technology.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, an HDMI output for connecting an LCD TV, that support DLNA streaming video wirelessly to compatible devices. Storage space is provided for installing limited to 320MB, but the package includes an 8GB microSD card, which you can attach to expand storage capacity without additional costs.
