iPod Touch, Nano, Shuffle – What’s new in Apple’s range of MP3 players in 2011
iPhone 4S launch held the headline conference on Tuesday by Apple in Cupertino, but the American company revealed on this occasion and some interesting news in the range of iPod players.
The most important news coming from the front of iPod Touch, however, Nano has not escaped of small improvements. Instead, the speculation on the waiver iPod Classic has gained momentum after Apple did not mention any word about his future.
Apple has released a new version of iPod Touch, best selling model in the iPod range, which thus became the fifth generation.
News is not significant on the hardware, but the big advantage will be availability of the new operating system iOS 5. Unlike the previous generation, the new iPod Touch will be available from the beginning in black and white and will be available in three versions, depending on the internal memory: 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB.
On the software we talk about the news brought by iOS 5, including Game Center. Given that many users use the iPod Touch as a portable game console, improving gamming experience is welcome. Apple did not bring any change in the range of iPod Shuffle, so players will still be dispinibile on the 2 GB version for 50 USD.
