HTC Runnymede and HTC Rhyme – Specifications and unofficial pictures

HTC Runnymede

HTC  Runnymede  stands out with the giant display S-LCD of 4.7″ and with the resolution of 480×800 pixels, similar to that available on the HTC Titan.

This is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset equipped with a single-core Scorpio processor of 1.5 GHz frequency and Adreno 205 integrated graphics, while RAM is 768 MHz. Of course, the connectivity is high with 3G (HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS system A-GPS, microUSB port plus 2.0.

The phone is part of the recently launched partnership with Beats Audio, through which the sound will have better quality than usual, and has an 8 MP camera with dual LED flash capable of recording video in HD 720p. We not missing the front camera of 1.3 MP dedicated for video calls.

The phone relies on operating system Google Android 2.3 Gingerbeard with HTC Sense proprietary interface.

HTC Rhyme

HTC Rhyme, which originally appeared in the international press as the Bliss is also a top smartphone, but technical equipment is somewhat closer to “earthly” requirements. We talk all about the S-LCD display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, the diagonal it is “only” of 3.7″.

Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset is also present on duty with integrated graphics Adreno 205 and 768 RAM but with a slightly slower processor Snapdragon, with a frequency of 1 GHz. The internal memory has 4 GB, but the package includes a microSD card of 8 GB.

No surprise in the connectivity chapter, where features are identical to those of Runnymede and the most of top smartphones on the market: 3G (HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS with A-GPS system, microUSB 2.0.

The camera has only 5 megapixels, but benefiting from the LED flash and can record 720p of HD video, and adding to the 0.3 MP front camera.
