Samsung Wave 3, a slim smartphone covered in metal



The new Samsung Wave 3 is distinguished by the premium construction given by the metal case with anodized aluminum with a thickness of 9.9 mm, and top hardware specifications, which has a great value with its operating system proprietary of Samsung – Samsung Bada 2.0.

The “personality” of Samsung Wave 3 is defined by a Super AMOLED screen that measures a generous 4 inches diagonal (and has 800 x 480 pixels), behind which stands ready to share a single core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz.

Facilities are completed with 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and recording High Definition (1280 x 720 pixels, 30 fps) GPS receiver and support full connectivity (HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).

Wave 3 includes applications like Social Hub (for connecting to virtual social networking platforms) and Music Hub, an application that allows you to purchase and download songs and albums over-the-air.

Samsung Wave 3 has dimensions of 125.9 x 64.2 x 9.99 mm and weighs 122 grams, complete with 1500 mAh battery. It offers a range of up to 480 minutes (calls). The smartphone will be exposed to the Samsung booth at IFA 2011 (Berlin, 2-7 September), and by the end of the year will arrive in stores.
