7 reasons why I love google search

It’s been a long time since I used any search engine other than Google. Today I thought why not pay back Google a little bit with writing about my love for Google search. Following are the reasons why I love Google search:

1. Fast & Lightweight:

Seven years earlier when I liked to use multiple search engines, one thing I was really sick of, was the speed. Since I was a dial up user than, page loading and search results time was really important for me. During these 7 years Google never let me down in terms of search results speed & page loading time.

2. Accuracy/Relevancy:

Over these years every search engine has improved its search accuracy/relevancy to search terms but Google stands on top for me. I can search for paragraph length terms and still can get plenty of relevant search results.

4. Innovative:

Google always keep adding new things to its search engine. Over the years it has transformed itself from plain websites search to a giant which can search everything within dense World Wide Web(www). Image search, Video search, search within PDFs & other document formats are the few examples of Google search innovations.

5. Simple yet attractive:

From day one of my internet browsing, I am in love with beautifully designed sites. Beauty doesn’t mean heavy or too much graphics loaded sites for me. Simplicity and balance between page elements are two essential design values for me to rate a site’s beauty. Google has both these values fulfilled.

6. Fast Indexing:

Google indexes newly created web pages faster than any other search engine, means most relevant and updated search results for me.

7. Small yet effective utiliites:

I really love these built-in small utilities in Google search like currency converter, small calculations, match scorecards, unit conversion etc. Most beloved utility for me is currency conversion which provides me with always updated currency rates and precise conversion results. Match scorecards enable me to pull scores even if my internet provider refuses to open relevant scoring sites.
